Support
PlainCopy is made and supported by one person, so the developer answers, usually within two days. Say what you expected and what happened. Settings › Contact Support adds the app and iOS version for you.

Restore a Purchase
On a new iPhone or iPad, or after reinstalling, open Settings and tap Restore on the PlainCopy Free card at the top. Be signed in to the same Apple Account that bought Pro. Lifetime and active subscriptions both come back, with no new purchase.
Manage or Cancel a Subscription
Settings › PlainCopy Pro › Manage Subscription opens the App Store, where you can change plan or cancel. The same page is in iOS Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions. Canceling keeps Pro until the paid period ends, and everything you made stays yours.
Find Your Scans in Files
Every scan is a PDF in the Files app: iCloud Drive › PlainCopy, or On My iPhone (On My iPad) › PlainCopy when iCloud Drive is off for PlainCopy. Settings › Library Location opens the folder. Folders in the app are folders on disk, and the file name is the name you see in the app. A file with a cloud icon has not downloaded to this device yet; tap it to fetch it.
OCR Language and Accuracy
There is no language setting: text recognition picks the language on its own, from 12 or more languages (more on newer iOS versions), and corrects common misreads. For better results, scan flat pages in good light, keep the B&W filter for text, and use Standard or Best size. OCR is a Pro feature.
Set Up a Send To Destination
Settings › Send To › Add Destination. For a Files folder, pick any folder (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox folders all work). For WebDAV, enter the server address, a path such as /Scans/{year}, and your user name and password. For Paperless-ngx, the server address and your API token. Passwords and tokens stay in this device's Keychain. Waiting uploads show under Library ••• › Pending Uploads.
Recover a Deleted Document
Deleting moves a document to Recently Deleted (Library ••• › Recently Deleted), where it stays for 30 days. Swipe to Recover or Delete, or use Recover All. Delete All removes documents for good and cannot be undone.
Camera Access Is Off
If PlainCopy says camera access is off, open the Settings app, find PlainCopy, and turn on Camera. You can still import photos and files without it.
